Where the name came from

Hi everyone,
Several people lately have asked "where did French Vintage & Chic come from".
Well my first name is Lynette which I don't use (except family cant seem to remember ! )
It is a french name so that's the french part.
Vintage ,I'm a vintage seller and have a passion for all things vintage. (see my obsessive collections)
Chic its just one of those words that explains all things stylish and individual which is the look I hope to portray.
the collection

all very girly

flowers ,hats

perfume bottles,shoes

and petti point handbags
sometimes its nice to just sit and enjoy looking at  it all.

A week in the country

Hi everyone ,welcome to a week in the country.
 The fabulous vista
some great Vintage finds

The Motley crew

Miss Grace in a car full of stuff with her new Vintage hat.

Ive had a well earned break in the country with my family, and have been on a search mission for fabulous Vintage stuff but particularly clothes.
We stayed at a farm house in Axdale around 20 mins from Bendigo.
Each day we went for a tour around the area.Castlemane,Bendigo and Dalesford were some of the highlights and my favorites but also some of the lovely small towns were a joy to discover.
Over the next week I will post some photos of the great stuff I have found.
Enjoy Lyn

Vintage Caravan update

So I'm making Vintage Travel t towels into cushions.

1950s vase black with polka dots Barsony statue black 1950s wall figurines
Cute red and white vintage stool grans blanket fabulous red Rexal picnic set
Still working on the deck ,currently its an old gate slowly finding timber for the deck.
Mr FV&C has found me two matching conical pots which I'm filling with cacti and succulents and have painted vintage red. So the theme is blue, red and generally 50s colours.
Ive also got some great black and white check lino for the floor (am waiting for a warm evening to remove old carpet and lay it.)
Ive also made some cute blue gingham curtains (see first photo) So hopefully next week I should have some more done.
 cheers for now Lyn
